Every now and again, just for the heck of it, Alex and I will pass comments, converse, argue, and be generally silly, through the art of song. This evening, the youngster earned top marks for a superb riposte. Driving through a small town in Staffordshire, I made an observation.
I see an attractive woman – about thirty five years old, dressed smartly, walking under the weight of many many flowers.
Shane: ♫ Looks like it’s someone’s birthday today- ♫
Alex: (immediately, joyously) ♫ Or maybe someone has died! ♫
